The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is staging an inaugural conference for the next generation of accountants.
Students will be invited to the conference in the east midlands on the weekend of September 2nd, where they can get advice and guidance on the development of their career.
Staged at Wyboston in Bedfordshire, a series of seminars will be offered, with the proximity to exam results expected to make the session a useful exercise for those looking to push on.
CIMA director of education Robert Jelly described the event as an opportunity to directly ask any questions regarding all aspects of being a CIMA student, adding it was an "exciting first" for the organisation.
The itinerary includes keynote speakers such as CIMA's head of product learning Paul Weymouth, who will speak on exam techniques.
Other speakers will focus on exam technique and improving memory as a means for boosting candidates performance under pressure.
In addition, Hays' Stephanie Hall will help those looking to get on the career ladder, offering advice on the financial
accounting job market and how to put knowledge of accountancy systems into practice.
The event is priced at £15 and runs from 9:30 to 16:30 BST.
