BASDA to attend payroll solutions event

The Business Application Software Developers Association (BASDA) is to be one of the many bodies attending a major HR and payroll solutions event to be held at Birmingham's NEC.

The CBI and HM Revenue and Customs will also be present at the two-day Softworld HR & Payroll Solutions fair, giving independent advice on software selection and implementation.

The use of e-recruitment will also be the topic of one of the sessions.

Free educational programmes form a crucial part of the two days. Other topics explored on the programme include flexible working, equal pay issues and payroll legislation update.

Sessions aim to help professionals examine existing systems and processes and help them consider new strategic frameworks.

It is also hoped that they will encourage the development of new business models that will improve the management of the businesses involved.

The event takes place on October 18th and 19th in Hall 17 of the NEC, Birmingham. Delegates can view the full programme, and pre-register free for the event at its website.
