Access' Rosie O'Neill walks you through the benefits of our iPhone app.

Rosie O'Neill: Hi, I'm here to introduce FocalPoint for iPhone. FocalPoint is part of our web-based software solutions designed to empower you with the latest technology. This free app extends your Access Dimensions business system, keeping you productive, right here from your iPhone.

Let's launch FocalPoint for iPhone.

For the purposes of this demo I'm a mouse icon, but you'll use the touch screen as normal.

Entering expenses is easy, let's enter one now. It already knows my initials, all I have to do is set the date - the 19^th December. Now I'm ready to enter my other details. I've got a train receipt so I need to select 'travel' from this menu here. I can also add a short description. The travel date is the 17^th December. The cost of my ticket was £40. Now I just need to allocate the cost to a client project. This makes sure it gets charged correctly. That's my travel expense claim completed.

As a company, we also track our carbon emissions. So I just need to add a little bit more information. It already knows the emissions group, so I just need to set the classification, which is National Rail. The only other thing I need to do is enter the kilometers traveled, which is 175. This has automatically calculated 15.59kg of CO². Now I just save this expense claim.

Going back I can see all the expense claims I've entered. Right at the bottom, will be the one I've just typed in. And it's ready to take to the next stage. A few moments ago, I used my iPhone to take a photo of the receipt, which I'm now going to attach to this expense claim before I submit it. In the picture library are all the pictures that I've taken. I'm just going to add a note. This will help accounts. The following stage is for me to submit this expense claim ready for approval.

As a manager, I can also see all the expenses my team have entered. From here, I can approve or reject them. Let's approve this one. There we go. If I want more detail at any time, I just click on this blue arrow. I'm actually going to reject this expense. I can type in a reason and send it back. This person obviously has expensive tastes! There we go.

In a similar way, I can review all the timesheets that my team have entered, and again, I can choose to approve or reject them.

There's just one more thing I want to show you today - I can run any of my Dimensions reports from my iPhone. Here's a list of all of them. Let's pick this one.

This report shows my company's carbon footprint, which of course includes the train journey we've just entered. To get more detail, I can zoom in, or I can send this report to a colleague if I want to.
