Meet the team
Put a face to the name. Meet the company directors and find out
a little more about them.
Chris Bayne
I'm the CEO for Access UK & Ireland as well as the parent
company, Access Technology Group (ATG). I work closely with our
sales and development teams on upcoming trends and new features as
well as with our customers, helping to meet their specific user
requirements. I enjoy watching sports and having active holidays,
and I'm a good weather golfer and a gadget collector. I'm an Apple
iPhone and iPad addict, and I strongly believe the iPad is a viable
business tool. Read Chris's blogs »
Stuart Allsopp
I'm responsible for the research & development process
across the business, working with all our teams to provide the full
range of Access software. I've a passion for innovation and
technology, making me one of the most geekiest people I know. I
started at Access originally in 1993 and have been contributing to
Access' software portfolio ever since. Outside of work I enjoy
spending time with my wife - but with our rather large collection
of pets, not so much! Read Stuart's blogs »
Mike Audis
Based out of our Harpenden office, I've been working for Access
UK since July 2009, following the successful integration of the
four UK-based ATG subsidiaries into a single trading company. Prior
to Access UK, I was one of the founding directors of Armstrong
Consultants Ltd, where I worked from its conception in 1993 through
to 2009. I've an extensive technical background with Access' range
of products, which I've been working with since 1993. I'm married
with a young family, so this takes up most of my free time, but I
try to get to down to the Emirates whenever possible to follow the
Gunners.
Gary Bailey
I'm a director in the account management team at Access that's
charged with looking after our 4,000+ directly supported customers.
I joined Access in 2006 as general manager of its corporate
accounts division and was promoted to director in October 2008. I
have a long track record of managing and developing software
solutions based businesses. An ex-England team swimmer and ex-rugby
player, I'm also a qualified RFU referee and coach U12s at Sudbury
RFC. When I'm not coaching, playing golf or enjoying my love of
food and drink, I'm taxi driver for my three children.
Tony Barrow
I'm responsible for looking after our UK and International
Channel Partners and 3rd party relationships, amongst other things.
I've been with Access since 1992, and I'm more passionate now than
ever before about bringing our solutions to the mass market. When
I'm not in meetings, presenting, demonstrating or driving, I like
spending time with my family, playing tennis and football or
driving go-karts - oh, and when I have to, weeding and feeding my
garden!
Aidan Bartlett
I'm responsible for our client implementation projects, as well
as the management of our consulting team, and have been part of the
Access family since 2001. Unlike many of my board colleagues, I'm
not a computer scientist, being a Fellow of the Association of
Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with an MBA from the Open
University Business School. When I'm not overseeing our many active
sites, and young family permitting, I like to focus on my golf
swing, as well being a keen distance runner.
Steve Berridge
I'm responsible for the new business strategy across the
business, ensuring that we create and follow common practice
irrespective of product specialism and location. My direct
operational responsibility lies with the new business sales team
who are dedicated to bringing new customers into Access through one
of our core finance, FocalPoint, CRM and service management
solutions.
Adam Brown
I'm responsible for the finance function at Access and work with
the rest of the team to deliver on our growth plans. I've worked in
the tech sector for more than 15 years, managing the successful
integration of high growth acquisitions and two exits. I'm really
passionate about how our customers' success will drive our own
success. Away from work I'm a trustee of Rhythms of the World, a
music charity which brings music and the arts to the community.
Each year we put on a music festival in Hitchin involving 140 bands
on more than six stages with 30,000 people attending. When I'm not
busy with the charity, I enjoy playing the guitar badly, and
spending time with my family and dogs.
Ket Chauhan
I look after the development team based out of the Harpenden
office, but my main responsibility lies around our Service Manager
solution. I get involved with all aspects of the solution,
including sales, development and consultancy. Outside of work I
like to play Cricket and watch the odd international...and being a
Leicester boy, I follow the mighty Leicester City...come on
Sven!
Gareth Denley
I joined Access as chairman in March 2011 at the time of the
acquisition of Access by Lyceum Capital. I have worked in
information technology for most of my career, and held senior
executive positions at IBM, Spring Group and Rebus HR; for the past
ten years I have focussed on using this experience to help private
equity owned companies to maximise their potential. I see my role
as helping the Board to determine the best strategy to create long
term success and value, and helping executive management to execute
that strategy. In the past I have also worked with politicians and
the civil service, having been seconded to the Department of the
Environment, and more recently have been actively involved with the
Industry and Parliamentary Trust. I used to be a keen hockey
player, but these days in my spare time I enjoy sailing and
walking.
David England
My role at Access as non-executive director is to drive
operational improvements and provide consultancy to the Board. I'm
a qualified chartered accountant with a high degree of experience
in the UK SITS market as MD and Group COO, and as non-executive
director of private equity investee companies. Prior to Access I've
worked with organisations of all sizes, including Computer Software
Group Plc, which tripled in share price during my time as Group
COO, and Solution 6 Group.
Jon Jorgensen
As group sales director I'm responsible for generating the
revenue at Access, including leading the company's sales strategy,
and managing new business, the account management team, and
existing customers. I started my career with Access in 1997, ran a
reseller for a number of years, and now sit on the Group Board with
responsibility for revenue within the group. My aim as group sales
director is to build on strong organic growth as well as
establishing new partnerships to make our position in the mid
market even stronger. Outside of work I like to keep active and can
often be found playing a round of golf whatever the weather, and
wakeboarding in the summer.
Piers McLeish
I'm the director of consulting services, responsible for all
pre-sales and pre-contract scoping and business analysis work,
mostly involving our larger clients and implementations. Prior to
Access, I worked with well-known names such as MBNA International
Bank and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Outside of work, I
enjoy films, books, the odd artistic enterprise and good food,
preferably in a warm climate!
Kevin
Misselbrook
As customer services director I've overall responsibility for
the delivery of customer services and support for Access
UK. I've been with Access since 1997, initially joining as a
project manager. I sit on the General Council of trade body BASDA
(Business Application Software Developers Association) and actively
engage in their Green Special Interest Group. I also serve on the
ICAEW IT Faculty committee which aims to provide education and
interaction on IT amongst the accountancy profession. At the
weekend, I'm a taxi driver and baby-sitter for my three children,
but also get to relax and sail on our local estuaries. Read

Jolanta Pilecka
As chief marketing officer for Access, I'm part of the M&A
executive team as well as being responsible for all strategic and
tactical PR and marketing activities across the business. My
experience spans 20 years in the IT industry working with names
such as Hewlett Packard and Computer Software Group, where I was
part of the transformation team that grew the business from
£3m to £50m turnover in five years. Outside of work, I
enjoy active sports such as skiing, horse riding and mountain
walking as well as spending time with my two teenage daughters.
Alex Reeves
I'm a director in the account management team working with Gary,
and my focus is on the development of our client relationships, and
building strategic partnerships with our customers. Prior to
joining Access in 2007, I worked in 'big 4' consulting, responsible
for business development, systems implementation and advisory
projects with multi-channel retail and FMCG clients. During my
consulting career, I've worked with companies such as WHSmith,
B&Q, Rothmans, DHL, Dixons and SAB Miller. Outside work, I am
kept very busy with my three children, and a very slow house
renovation. Read Alex's blogs »
Chris Tossell
I've had close ties with Access since the late '80s and was
involved in the business through to 1995. I rejoined in 2006 and
now oversee commercial projects and M&A activity. Married with
four grown-up children, we enjoy just getting away from it all,
which we do whenever we can (subject to the usual time constraints
- my wife has her own business which, of course, uses Access
software)! Read Chris's blogs »
